Some 34 charts across Alaska have just been announced for last edition status throughout Alaska, with subsequent cancellation planned in 26 weeks (approximately six months) from now, on November 1, 2023. These charts stretch across the state, but focus on Southcentral and Southeast Alaska.
Also, the recording of the NOAA Custom Chart 2.0 webinar, which took place on April 19, 2023, is now available online, at https://nauticalcharts.noaa.gov/about/nav-cast.html. Also at this link are the slides and a transcript from the presentation, questions and answers from the webinar, and a few additional helpful links.
