Captain Justin Theriot is a marine supervisor at Alaska Clean Seas and holds the alternate At-Large seat on the Cook Inlet HSC.
Alaska Clean Seas (ACS) is the North Slope's Oil Spill Removal Organization (OSRO) and functions in the same capacity as Cook Inlet Spill Prevention & Response, Inc. (CISPRI) but for the northern region of Alaska. Captain Theriot’s role is to supervise all marine activity associated with Spill Response for the region. ACS is a member of the Global Response Network (GRN) and in the case of Mutual aid, they would be called to assist in recovery operations in the Cook Inlet region. Captain Theriot’s other connections to the At-Large representation are as a commercial Upper Cook Inlet Drift fisherman since 1995, as an avid lifelong sports fishing enthusiast and as a resident of Homer.
